General Meeting of Members of GBDA

Borehole drilling has become a way of sourcing underground water to sustain lives especially in Ghana. The business of drilling boreholes has therefore become a means of livelihood to many contractors and as they seek to thrive in the Hydro sector, they have realized the need to work togther as a group to achieve longevity in the sector. This has since 2014 given birth to the Ghana Borehole Drillers Association.

Members of the Ghana Borehole drillers Associations on Sunday 22th May 2022 held a life transforming meeting to address major issues that confront the industry and find permanent solution to them. One of the main Highlights among many others was the lauching of their online MIS, Website and many innovations.

Another very important subject the association touched on was the registration of members and the steps and stages involved in becoming a member or a leader.

Some of the steps outlined during the meeting included:
Stage 1: Online Registration to collate list of potential members into a database
Stage 2: Payment of Membership dues and Application for ID Card to authenticate your registration
Stage 3: Application for WRC License through the Association to become a Certified Member (Receive Certificate of Membership)
Stage 4: Leadership
Stage 5: Consultancy

Members were edged to go on line to register as members and users of the website to start benefiting from the new system. Some of the Benefits outlined and presented to the house are:
